About Darrin and Keith
Darrin and Keith bring a vast array of life experiences as your hosts at Equinox Inn at Canyon Lake, your lodging destination in Texas Hill Country.
Darrin left the medical field to become a massage therapist and will continue her practice here at the inn. Past hobbies have included mountain and road biking, camping, marathons, and sprint distance triathlons, long-distance solo motorcycle rides, reading, cooking and listening to others’ stories. Darrin is also a two-time cancer survivor. Darrin continues to volunteer on the Texas Bed & Breakfast Association as the Hill Co Rep and Mentorship Chair.
Living Green
Equinox Inn at Canyon Lake has always promoted the “green” way of living. Here are just the highlights we have been doing for some time now:
Recycle all recyclable materials, and take them to the recycle center on a weekly basis
Compost food scraps
Program outdoor lights on timers
Water our grounds using an aerobic waste water system that recycles ALL of Equinox Inn at Canyon Lake’s water
Run our dishwashers only when full
Use LED Lights where we can
Clean our glass tables & mirrors with micro-cloths instead of chemicals
Use a commercial steam machine to clean hard and soft surfaces instead of chemicals
